There's no hiding place for brands
Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 8:13AM A common refrain amongst social media marketeers is that companies need to engage with social media as their customers will talk about them online for good or bad anyway. It will be interesting to see if/how American Express responds to Jeff Jarvis's blog post about why he has stopped being a customer after 35 years. They may want to look at Jeff's "Dell Hell" posts from several years ago to get an idea for how to approach the issue.
