Twittering in Tunbridge Wells

A lot of the stories on how businesses use Twitter as a marketing tool focus on big companies like Starbucks, Dell, Comcast etc.  But what about SMEs?  A quick search for Tunbridge Wells (my home town) throws up some interesting results: of the 7 tweets posted in the last hour, 4 are promoting local jobs, 2 a local business networking event (using foursquare) with only 1 being a personal message (also linking to a location on foursquare).  Although far from scientific, it seems to indicate small businesses are taking to Twitter and, possibly, foursquare..
