After 2 years of posting to my self-hosted Wordpress blog (admittedly not as often as I would have liked), I have given it up to start afresh.  The reason?  Some !*&"!!! had hacked into my site and filled it with spam and viruses and after many hours trying to clean and reinstall it I have given up.  I am going to give Squarespace a go as a hosted solution.  So far I'm very impressed with the configuration options.  If nothing else my new site will look much smarter than the old one.  I have tried to import my old posts as I had a Wordpress backup from the old blog but the images seem to have gone missing and many of them don't make much sense without the graphics.

So this is a fresh start.  To readers of my old blog (all 3 of you), I hope you will continue to indulge me.  To any new readers, I welcome you and thank you for your time and hope you find something of interest here.  I will be posting my thoughts and observations on the information industry with a focus on developments in the online space.
